Many people seem to like to do things with MQTT and HomeAssistant. So it would be a nice idea to support this.

I can also imagine to have something like a "headless" mode, where all grow controlling stuff is done externally , and cangrow would just act like a nice UI for the sensors and be just dumb and do nothing else then receiving control commands from HomeAssistant or else.
